Applications
water-based acrylic emulsion SM 631 is a hard, non-film forming, controlled particle size RC acrylic emulsion designed to hide the brown background of natural kraft substrates. This emulsion, when used as a letdown vehicle, results in more intense, brighter printed colors. The semi-opaque nature of SM 631 allows for the reduction of pigment levels as well as inorganic extenders.
SM 631 is recommended for printing inks for flexographic or gravure applications
