Applications
water-based acrylic emulsion SM 650 is a general purpose, soft film forming, Rheology Controlled (RC) acrylic emulsion for the use in water-based flexographic and gravure inks on flexible films and foils. It is a versatile film
forming emulsion that has good adhesion to a broad range of polyolefin films.
SM 650 is excellent when used as a universal film forming vehicle with the right combination of properties for surface printing and adhesion lamination applications. When it is used as an additive, this emulsion will impart good rub resistance properties to paper and paperboard inks.
SM 650 is recommended for applications such as:
• Printing inks for flexographic and gravure applications
