Polyvinyl butyral PVB is a synthetic organic polymer resin widely used in various applications because of its strong binding, clear appearance, ability to stick to many surfaces, toughness, and flexibility. It's made from polyvinyl alcohol by reacting it with butyraldehyde.
PVB is a kind of flexible resin, with excellent weather ability ad corrosion-resistance,Besides,PVB resin had very good adhesion to metals, glass, wood, ceramics, leather and fibers. Our resin is widely used in printing inks, paints & coatings, electronic ceramics, new energy batteries and adhesives.
Features ：
1. Excellent adhesion to metals, plastics, glass, ceramics, wood, concentrate, leather etc.
2. Product is soluble in low cost environment friendly solvents like alcohols, glycol ethers & has ability to accept eater, ketones etc.
4. Excellent film formation property. Film being clear, transparent, odourfree and tasteless
5. Excellent pigment wetting and compatibility.
6. Free hydroxyl groups present in it which are chemically reactive and undergo reactions with phenolics, epoxies, isocyanides, melamine aldehyde resins etc.
7.PVB resin shows good adhesion resistance, heat resistance, resistance to water and wide
range of other chemicals.
